Books and Documentary on Michael Jackson being released popularly

It’s been more than 3 years Michael Jackson left this world and joins the lords in heaven. Still fans love for MJ is as much as was in the days of him doing shows and music albums. I am sure had him been alive and his comeback tour happened Michael Jackson must have recreated the magic of pop he did in 80s with people going crazy for his music and dance.

Even years after his death people are working on documentaries and writing book on him. Latest book on Michael is by Joe Vogel and title of the book is “Featuring Michael Jackson”.  Book is a collection of essays written by the author at various occasion and now all the essays come together in a book all clubbed together.  Author already had lots of critical success with his previous book on MJ titled “Joe Vogel”.  One important thing you can read is about misrepresentation of Michael’s race and problems faced with white media who at one point was extremely reluctant to recognize MJ like other celebrities.  One writing you can find interesting is about top 10 Jackson songs and another more interesting is about famous song “Dangerous” by MJ.  Read this book and you may think that why Michael Jackson who was a great artist, dancer, composer and human being was negatively criticized or was critics were biased to him because of his plastic surgeries, changing appearances, unorthodox lifestyle or pet chimp Bubbles.

Now lest discuss about the documentary Spike Lee is working on.  It’s not required to mention that documentary is on Michael Jackson but thing worth sharing is that the director Spike Lee was not only friend of MJ but worked with him as well. According to lee the documentary is about behind the screen or scenes stuff about Jackson. The documentary as about MJs album BAD and hard work by MJ, stuff Michael shot himself and demos he wrote for “BAD”.  Interestingly the documentary comes in the 25 anniversary of the album.

Now for a MJ fan it’s time to read the book or wait for the documentary release.

Recently a psychic reader reported to the media that MJ's soul won rest until he got justic in many cases and one million dollar robery from his house on the day of his death is one among the cases.

Video of the Final Cut of BAD starring Michael Jackson. This is a cut version full version is a 18 minutes video directed by Martin Scorsese. The full 18-minute-long version of the video for "Bad" first appeared on the DVD version of Video Greatest Hits - HIStory in 2001.



Summary from Youtube: Jackson portrays a boy named Daryl who has just completed a successful term at an expensive private school. He returns to the city by subway, arriving in a derelict neighborhood.

Daryl arrives to find his house empty (his mother is played by Roberta Flack, albeit in voiceover), but is greeted by his old friends, led by Mini Max (an emerging Wesley Snipes) and spends an evening with them. At first relations are friendly, if slightly awkward, but the situation deteriorates once the rest of the gang realize how much Daryl has changed, and in particular how uncomfortable he has become with their tendencies towards petty crime. In an attempt to show his friends he is still "bad", Daryl takes the gang to a subway station (The Hoyt Schermerhorn Station in Brooklyn) where he attempts to mug an elderly man but bottles out at the last minute. Mini Max berates Daryl and tells him that he's no longer bad.

After more abuse from Mini Max, the video jumps from black and white to color and Daryl, now dressed head to foot in leather and joined by a crowd of dancing punks, sings "Bad" (it is at this point that is the edited video generally begins when played on television). His insistence that Max is headed for a fall are nearly Daryl's undoing, but eventually his friend accepts that and, after a final handshake, heads off leaving Daryl. The scene shifts back to black and white as Daryl, alone and back in his tracksuit, watches them leave. The video has many references to the 1961 film West Side Story, especially the "Cool" sequence. Not only does it show a street gang dancing in an urban setting, but there are also some parts of the choreography that were influenced by it. The choreographer Jeffrey Daniel confirmed the influence, although they intended to do a more contemporary version of it.

The home of "King of Pop" Michael Jackson here is being recreated in Ireland for music lovers with pieces of furniture personally commissioned by the singer to go on display.

A luxurious 16ft sofa and a feather-trimmed armchair hand picked for his friend Elizabeth Taylor are among the items the late "Thriller" hitmaker ordered for the Kent mansion he planned to live in during his sell-out concerts in London. It has taken seven days to ship the furniture from the renowned Colombostile Furniture Company in Italy to Ireland where they will go on show on Tuesday, The Daily telegraph reported.

3D tribute to Michael Jackson at Grammys

King of the pop, Michael Jackson will be will be paid a grand 3D tribute at the upcoming 52nd Annual Grammy Awards. Grammy awards are like oscars for music artists.

Grammy winners Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood and Usher will join together, along with the voice of Jackson, in a special tribute to the 'Thriller' hitmaker.

Also, a never-before-seen 3-D mini-movie for 'Song' that was created by Jackson as the centerpiece of his much-anticipated 'This Is It' tour, will be screened at the ceremony, reported the official site of the awards.

"It was one of the most important portions of the concert tour to Michael and when Michael saw the film for the first time at his last rehearsal, there were tears in his eyes," said Ken Ehrlich, Grammy co-Executive Producer and longtime Jackson associate.

The tribute joins previously announced performances by nominees Beyonce, the Black Eyed Peas, Bon Jovi, the Dave Matthews Band, Green Day, Lady Antebellum, Lady Gaga, Maxwell, Pink, Taylor Swift, and the Zac Brown Band.

The gala event will take place on January 31 in Los Angeles.
